This workshop will focus on creating a 3D artwork on die-cut cardstock, with special emphasis on learning how artists use visual illusion techniques to make their art work on flat surfaces appear dimensional and dynamic. Participants will explore how layering, shadowing, spacing, and perspective tricks can transform simple materials into artwork that looks like it pops off the page.
The goal is for participants not only to create a finished piece, but to truly understand the magic behind illusion in art and how to apply it in their own creative projects.
Includes all materials plus guided, hands-on instruction. The environment will be encouraging and exploratory, reinforcing that there are no mistakes—just more opportunities to be creative.
